Claire Phelan - Athletic's Leinster Senior Star Award - Laois
Involved in the sport for the past 10 years this is her 1st time to be recognised at Leinster level. During 2009 she won the Leinster
5000 metres track and the senior road championship. A qualified primary school teacher she is currently on a career break studying
psychology in the UK.

Conor Daly - Male Juvenile Star Award - Laois
Conor had an exceptional year in 2009 taking 6 Leinster titles in total and going on to win National titles and gain International
recognition for school and club. A Junior Certificate student in Knockbeg college Conor also won the Community Games high jump.
Thus he was a comfortable winner of the Male Juvenile Star Award for Laois.

Ailish Brennan - Female Juvenile Star Award - Laois
Ailish is a Leaving Certificate student in Heywood Community School. A keen camogie and basketball player Ailish has been involved in
athletics since she was 13. Last year she made good progress over the 800 and 1500 on the track.

Shauna Daly accepted the EuroTab Cup for St. Abbans as the best club in the U.16 to U.19 track and field championships in Leinster.
